Hi, I’m Kristy!

I’m a busy wife, mom and food lover! The past few years have been a constant quest for physical, mental and emotional well-being. This blog is a culinary diary of that journey, documenting and showcasing some of the things that work and help our family to be as happy and healthy as possible!

With hectic lives and young kids, we know that the path is not linear; and there is definitely no right way to eat. We take a balanced approach with diverse cuisines and whole-food ingredients, without compromising on the joy and flavor of home cooked meals together. 

My Vision

We believe that it’s about taking small steps, and creating balance in your life, whether in exercise, mental health, or diet. There will be no evangelical adherence to a single plan, or bans on certain ingredients/food types, rather a dabbling in everything from the rich and indulgent, to the lean and healthy; from meals that feature heavily on our weeknight rotation, to once a year splurges. Hopefully there will be something for everyone 🙂

At Eats to Love, we believe that no matter the food type, the recipes should ideally fit into the 3 main categories: easy, affordable and tasty! Using these basic guidelines as a template still offers a world of possibilities, and provides a practical framework for busy people and families! 

We’re often surprised at how simple it is to make authentic, delicious, and even exotic cuisine, and I look forward to sharing this experience with you!
